How do I switch which emails generate for my selected files?

How do I switch which email automatically generates for certain smart files I choose? For example, when we want to send a smart file to a client, there is an email that pops up as first-choice that is attached to that smart file for us to send to the client. Certain smart files do not have the correct email wording I want, so I have to frequently choose from the drop-down menu to select the email that matches the info of that smart file. How can I switch the attached email to that smart file to another email I’ve created? Or do I just edit the one that keeps popping up first and rename that one so it says what I want it to say?

​@Thalia Arenas-Great question, the email that auto-populates when you send a Smart File is tied to the email template associated with that file.If the wrong email keeps appearing first, you have two options:1️⃣ Edit the default email template that’s currently connected to that Smart File (and rename it so it’s clear what it’s for), or2️⃣ Open the Smart File template itself and check the email settings there — you can change which email template is linked so that the correct one auto-generates moving forward.Unfortunately, there isn’t a global “swap” button when sending, it’s tied to how the Smart File template is configured. So updating it at the template level is the cleanest long-term fix.Once you adjust it there, it should default to the correct email going forward and save you from constantly using the dropdown.💛
