We have a small business, but with a complicated invoice. Being a roofing company, the itemized list and calculations are simple, but numerous to build the quote from. We have the ability to either bring just the line item info in via XML to price it out, or use a separate pricing program to then hopefully transfer the invoice/info into Honeybook.

I hope this made sense, does anyone have experience with something like this or know of a tutorial/resource to point me to?

Thank You!

I understand what you are talking about. To my understanding there isn't a non Honeybook import feature for invoices of any kind (XML included)

Honeybook does have a feature that allows you to add predetermined line items. So you would need to build out all the line items using Services Block. Aka add the premium roof shingle with a specific price. Then when adding it to the invoice you can type the name of the shingle. It populates. Then you can add quantity (could be square footage or however you want)

You can add services here
