Automation - is it really automated?

Hi, I am trying to make sure I really understand how the automations work. Can I really only have one per project? The HB platform is supposed to be usable during the entire lifecycle of my project but one automation therefore really doesnt help with any efficiencies.

 

I also took the time to set up a bunch of automations in the main tab and it was completely not intuitive that I then need to actually associate these with every lead/project...that is very time consuming and then then to find out I can only use one per project. 

 

I am really dissapointed with this tool, I just spent hours setting stuff up thinking it would really help streamline my business and now I am back to square one sending items to my client manually.

 

Help - am I misunderstanding?

Hello Daniella! One quick clarification - you can only have one set of automation steps at a time, but, each automation can have as many steps as you need to cover the full lifecycle of any given project 😁 In terms of manually associating automations with each project, you can set it up so you don’t have to do this going forward. If you have lead forms or contact forms set up, you can set it so that automations will automatically apply to any new projects that come in via those forms. Hope that helps!
