Migrating to HoneyBook | Onboarding & Setup Guide

I am a circus artist and tour the country performing solo circus shows. As such, I typically only have one contact at each organization whether that be a librarian, entertainment director, or theater manager. I am brand new to Honeybook, so I just finished importing my contact list from an SCV file.I wanted to go back in and manually add each organization to the contact list, but Honeybook won’t allow me to create a new organization in the contact edit screen. It only gives me a dropdown menu with the sample organizations in it.The only way to add a new organization is when I create a new contact. But that means I’d have to start over, remove the imported contacts and manually create each contact from scratch. Thats so many hours of work. I considered creating a custom field to track organizations, but I was told by the AI help bot that custom fields can’t be used in contact forms. This kind of defeats the purpose of using them. So, is there a workaround? Or do

I’m helping one of my clients come over to HB from Dubsado. Is there a checklist? Best Practice article? anything that can help me do so? I’d like to not have to re-invent the wheel if there is an easy button from some things - like templates and migrating client info. Any assistance is much appreciated!Rene

Hey Yall! I’m new to HoneyBook as of just a few days ago.  I have downloaded my invoices from my previous CRM and was going to load the PDFs to each client.  But I also was going to manually enter in their invoices (a ton of work I KNOW) BUT I was wanting to do this to keep track of all the work I’ve done with my clients.  Esp my corporate and commercial ones. My previous CRM had a chart that showed me what I made each year so I was hoping by doing this Honeybook could do the same.  After loading my 2 largest clients invoices I noticed that HB “2025 Bookings” is tallying those manually entered invoices even tho I put the correct dates and times of when they actually occurred.  I contacted support and they said the only way to not have my 2025 Bookings be off is to delete the manual entries.  That is a SUPER bummer.  SO is all that data from my previous years in the other CRM just mute at this point?  Is there no logical and efficient way to keep all that within the CRM? 

I’m new to honeybook and I have existing clients invoices that I need to move from Dubsado to Honeybook. I’m not sure if I existing invoices to Honeybook, so I can edit it as needed. 

My client is wanting to migrate from Dubsado to HoneyBook because he is tired of how clunky and difficult it is.  Honeybook says we can migrate png, jpegs, pdfs etc.. but I do not see options on Dubsado to turn the forms into any of these formats. Anyone ever migrated from Dubsado to HoneyBook? How do I go about it?
