I have some clients who are on autopay, and I want their invoices to go out on a particular day of the month (the 20th), but it won't be due till the first day of the month. When I send them the invoice on the 20th, Honeybook sends them an email that it is due on the 20th, when it is not (because it is actually due on the 1st).Any ideas on how to resolve this?

FEATURE REQUEST: Is there a way to better organize my library? As it stands right now, everything I upload is just put in to the "My Files" Section. It would be awesome if we could further organize this with folders (Pricing guides, Location PDFs, ect..) within the overall library! 

How do I switch which email automatically generates for certain smart files I choose? For example, when we want to send a smart file to a client, there is an email that pops up as first-choice that is attached to that smart file for us to send to the client. Certain smart files do not have the correct email wording I want, so I have to frequently choose from the drop-down menu to select the email that matches the info of that smart file. How can I switch the attached email to that smart file to another email I’ve created? Or do I just edit the one that keeps popping up first and rename that one so it says what I want it to say?

When creating a project I would like the ability to select specific dates. For example, we use the Honey Book Booking system to book fitness classes on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays throughout spring and fall. Unfortunately, currently I can only select project start and project end which leads to an inaccurate display on my calendar view and does not allow for proper conflict notification. Please adopt this kind of feature! 

Hi! I am looking for other ways to export a filled-out lead form or questionnaire, ideally as an excel/CSV. I work with another vendor (non-honeybook business) and we are trying to streamline our information gathering so that it is not redundant for the client.The ways that I have found are to Print to PDF so that I can share the PDF or connect the other vendor with a view-only link to the client’s responses. Are there any other ways to share the information that I have collected from a client on a lead or questionnaire?

By day, I’m a corporate account, so by nature I’m an extremely analytical person. I like to have a multitude of reports to mess around with, and a system that can generate these reports well enough. I feel like Honeybook is definitely lacking in it’s capacity to generate the reports I want. I’d like to be able to generate reports that give me access to info like Tags I’ve attributed to projects, balances based on those Tags, balances based on packages book, etc. What are other people’s thoughts on this? Do you want the addition of these kinds of reports / ability to create these reports? I certainly do to be able to dictate and sway my business decisions as a photographer.

Just asked chat bot how to create an annual reminder on my calendar and it says this is not a supported feature??It’s crazy to me that my monthly fee has increased significantly to pay for all these AI integrations and automations yet something as simple as an annual reminder is not supported. Make it make sense.

The $30/mo + $6 payee is is a bit steep for someone who only uses the occasional contractor to cover wedding events.  That works for W2 employees and staff, but not contractors who are intermittent and might only work 1-2 wedding events a year.  Other payroll platforms offer more suitable options in their product lineup to allow for “contractor-only” option like Gusto, etc.

As an account owner it baffles me that I cannot add/edit/delete team members bookings/calendar. Or am I missing those features somewhere?

I am a circus artist and tour the country performing solo circus shows. As such, I typically only have one contact at each organization whether that be a librarian, entertainment director, or theater manager. I am brand new to Honeybook, so I just finished importing my contact list from an SCV file.I wanted to go back in and manually add each organization to the contact list, but Honeybook won’t allow me to create a new organization in the contact edit screen. It only gives me a dropdown menu with the sample organizations in it.The only way to add a new organization is when I create a new contact. But that means I’d have to start over, remove the imported contacts and manually create each contact from scratch. Thats so many hours of work. I considered creating a custom field to track organizations, but I was told by the AI help bot that custom fields can’t be used in contact forms. This kind of defeats the purpose of using them. So, is there a workaround? Or do I really need to delete

How do I apply apply a partial cash payment without having to change the payment schedule/contract to be approved?  Client is paying ahead but it’s only partial payment.  I need to keep the payment schedule there as it determines my refundable funds vs non refundable funds should a contract get cancelled…. THanks!

Lately my VA and I have been having trouble with some outdated features in Honeybook that aren’t quite fit for multiple team members to interact with.Thus far the big issues we’ve run into are:(For context my VA has Super Admin permissions- the highest permission level available)We can’t edit each other’s Honeybook Calendar Events. A client scheduled a meeting with me and it created a duplicate project. When my VA signed in to try to clean everything up and delete the wrong project and then reschedule the meeting correctly, it created the meeting for the VA and assigned it to the VA. They could not assign the meeting to me. When I tried to go in and fix it from my account, same issue- I could neither delete nor assign a meeting or project in the calendar view for my VA.  Inability to edit a calendar event has also been an issue when a client wants to reschedule with me. My VA handles a lot of my calendar but it’s redundant to have them in that role if I’m the only one that can do it in

Within the last few weeks my Pipeline (which I’ve always had sorted chronologically by event date) suddenly pops up in a weird order, possibly by most recent contact or inquiry date. It’s admittedly a tiny bug in the grand scheme of issues, but it just started doing this and I can’t figure out how to revert to the chronological sorting. 

As a user, I want to be able to use dates payment were made in automated input fields. This is so that I can use those dates as milestones for contracts and possibly other forms/emails.  Business Value: Many clients pay before due dates, so while you can choose the due date as an input field, or field source, if the client paid early, the contract became enforced on that early payment date. Hello, I am setting up an automation.  In the processes I have follow ups for when clients don't answer to an email/smart file where the smart file gets sent again. During test runs when the smart file is sent a second time, it also duplicates the file in the customer portal; there becomes two of the same file. This is redundant, sloppy, will absolutely cause confusion, and is honestly just a bad look for both my business and for honeybook.  I have spoken with customer support and the answer is basically “we know, deal with it.” (I’m paraphrasing, they were polite but there is no real solution at present moment).  This would make more sense if emails were sent in a chain and customers could reference the last email right there, however, everything is sent as a separate email.  I understand that customers can go into the customer portal and click on the file -- let’s be real though, this is completely off-brand simplicity, brand convenience, and there will absolutely be people that stru

Currently, HoneyBook's time tracking entries display in chronological order (oldest first) and there isn't a built-in setting to reverse this sorting to show most recent entries first across all projects.A reverse chronological sorting would help streamline time entry management for retainer clients. Entries sorted by most recent date first would definitely improve the workflow for managing client retainers.

WARNING: VENT AHEADI don’t know what’s going on at Honeybook over the last few weeks, but I’d really like someone in charge to address issues that I’ve been experiencing… and I know I’m not alone. Can anyone from management chime in?I’m frustrated and the last straw for me came this morning when I received notification that someone was trying to join my Zoom. Odd as nothing was on my calendar, so I reached out to him.  Turns out he was trying to join a meeting from an email he just received from me. He sent me a copy of the email dated YESTERDAY… it was regarding an event I held on January 8th.  Now mind you, this was sent as a bulk email through Honeybook on January 7th to all who were to attend my event. I had a higher than normal no-show rate, and now I understand why.  I repeat, he received the email yesterday. Can I add my own category when doing my expenses. There are so many categories that you ar missing for a running a small business from subscriptions to software, from auto expenses beyond gas to equipment. Your drop down list is very limiting.

Hello, I constantly get clients who did not receive our company emails because of spam. Is there a way we can include text messages in our workflow/pipeline. This can help us land more clients who are more text savvy as opposed to the old school email. I also notice in my area other companies do not do this and it will give us an extra edge to land more business. It can also help Honey book attract more business if this service was offered as well. We all win if we can add text messages.

Does anyone else have issues with the app not being able to change orientation? I am trying to give my kitchen access so they can see banquet orders with food requests but their display is mounted horizontally so they cannot read. Anyone have a workaround?

Recently when I’m viewing emails on Gmail, I haven’t been able to see any of my responses. So I looks like my client is just talking to themselves.I always respond to emails in HoneyBook. Then I’ll clean out my inbox in Gmail to confirm I’ve answered everyone. Sometimes I open an email in HB and don’t have time to answer and I can’t mark it as unread (which I’ve brought up in this community before)...so I do that in Gmail. But now I can’t even see if I’ve answered it in my gmail.I feel like theres been a few random updates like this lately and its honestly making my work process more annoying.
