Question

On the invoice, how can I allow clients to select 10% tip or 20% tip?

I run a mobile bar business. I give my clients the option to pay the full gratuity and not allow a tip jar at their event. Or, they can pay part of the gratuity, and allow a tip jar on the bar. Is there a way to set this as a selectable option on the invoice?

Hi @MeliaCherie,

To allow tips in a HoneyBook invoice, I’d suggest clicking the payment page of your invoice, then there will be a right hand tool bar that pops up. There will be a Tip option that pops up. You can choose to have the gratuity appear on the last payment only or all payments.

You can now send reminders to tip as well in case they forget!

If gratuity is required, you can also add a Service Charge in the invoice to ensure they pay it.
