I don’t want to send tip reminders to my clients.I don’t want to be reminded I can send tip reminders to my clients. Asking someone like this would be like a server at a restaurant going up to a table and saying “Do you want to tip me now?”It is rude and I am not going to use this optionI already get to many notifications on my laptop and on my phone.Please stop harassing me with notifications about tip reminders.

It is wild that there is not a report available that shows you your upcoming payment schedule. And the fact that you can only download previous information for projects that you yourself have created is also bonkers.It is not difficult to program reports that gather all of this information in one place so that you can pivot and manipulate the date for forecasting. I’m BEGGING for this to be added.I am currently having to manually copy and paste this info into an excel file and this manual work is just not necessary and a waste of valuable time.Please get this added to the reporting section.

I’m incredibly upset that HB has decided to sunset a key piece of the tool & picked a random date in Sept vs. waiting until the end of the year to do so. it is really frustrating that they did not reach out to heavy users of this feature to let them know in advance. the support chats have been filled with the same info as the banner (e.g. use another tool that you have to pay for to do the same job this included feature did) i have a large government contract that requires the invoices in a certain format - which are fed by the entries i put into time tracker & then create an invoice from them. this change will now mean that my invoices will be out of compliance. will anyone else experience something similar (e.g. a change in their business process) due to this change? 

I was watching a video that you can add a contract with your lead form just before payment.  I tried to do this, and it looks like it is about to be added but then disappears.  Does it matter if I’m on Chrome or Edge?  And is anyone else having this same issue?

I have tried to find answer regarding this specific situation but I haven't been able to find any.I’m a photographer and REALLY want to utilize the scheduler to fully automate my onboarding for clients. I have very limited and differing availability (like only certain days based family schedules, etc...) and I need to be able to add specific dates and time slots ONLY as my availability. Right now I am only seeing the option to open up all days and add exceptions: Is there a way to offer only specific dates and time slots? Even if I have to go in and manually add them every so often?

I am finding the mobile app extremely frustrating and making it hard to enjoy and truly use honeybooks. I am on the go all the time and mainly run my business from my mobile. The fact that I cannot complete a client file from mobile doesn’t make sense.  Also have a template set like a proposal and I can’t edit it unless on a desktop is extremely frustrating. I either don’t want to pull out my laptop or am not around to do that.  honey book please if you are going to keep users please update your mobile app as it’s making me want to cancel my subscription. 

My lead form requests full name. Client provides full name. Project is created using ‘first and last name’s project’ but the actual contact card only lists the first name. And then I have to manually open the contact info and add the last name even though it was already provided. Why?

I received a payment via credit card yesterday and the payment is not being transferred into my account. I received an email telling me that the business description in my bank details is unverified. However, I have verified it and saved it several times. The description is as accurate as I can make it. This is extremely frustrating and I have received no help from HoneyBook Support. Even when requesting to speak to a human the responses are copy paste and then they ignore you. The customer service is shockingly poor. Has anyone had this issue or something similar happen? If so, how did you fix it? 

Hey all 👋 Wanted to flag a recent update that's been creating some friction in my workflow, and hoping others can relate (or have a better workaround!).I have a huge library of templates built up over several years, and some of them aren't perfectly categorized (to say the least). Since the update, when I hit "Create File" inside a portal, I can no longer browse all my templates at once. I have to select a category first. For anyone with a well-organized library, maybe no big deal. But for those of us with older, miscategorized templates, it makes things really hard to find.The workaround I've found is going into File Templates manually, finding the template, and hitting "Use Template" for a specific project. But that's a ton of extra steps and time.Would love to know: is anyone else running into this? And HoneyBook team, is there any chance we could get an "All Templates" view back as an option? 🙏

I’m new to HB and switching over from Sprout mainly because I’m no longer a photographer but a web designer. I feel like there’s got to be some way that I can link an instant booking flow to my website that allows people to use a scheduler, fill out info, pay deposit and sign a contract. I was able to do that with Sprout but STRUGGLING to do this here. Is this truly not possible???

I’m loving the new automation builder but have run into a snag. In the previous builder, I had “wait until 3 days before session type X” to send out a certain email. I’m not seeing before as an option anymore - only a wait until things are completed or wait a certain number of days. Anyone found a work around to that yet?

This would be suchhhh a dream!! I know I can currently connect through Zapier, but to be able to connect Claude to Honeybook directly would be so cool.

I use multiple Workspaces inside a Project. The first and main one with the Client to send their contract and get payments etc. Then another one with my internal employees, Team Workspace. Finally, we may also have a Contractor Workspace for things that are only for a contractor that we are handling directly for the client (as opposed to the client booking them). The thing I’d like to see is for Honeybook NOT to create automations that are for the Pipeline in these side workspaces. I have them set to “Not Tracked” or “Do not track on pipeline” to indicate that there is no need for a “sale” when I’m talking with a cake baker or my own employees. But I do send them files, sometimes they are files that need to be filled or signed like a W9 or an Independent Contractor Agreement. This triggers our pipeline sales automation which I always have to turn off, which is annoying.I would like a feature request or a product update that would make it so no automations get triggered if the Workspace

I would REALLY love to have a default setting for all new invoices to be net-14 – it is embarrassing for me to send clients invoices that are due the same day (which is NOT NORMAL), where the app is pestering them the next day that it’s past due. I am not great at remembering changing things every single time to “smart date, 2 weeks after invoice date”, but also can’t figure out if there’s a way to set my default to 14 days (normal in US), or even 30 days (which is normal in Europe). Additionally, if there are two options for the client to choose from, then whatever they choose will have the same-day due date. Like I get the point behind it, but my projects and clients aren’t like a $30 thing, so things usually need to be processed through the clients finance dept, and not just “lemme just type in my credit card info here” type of payments.

From a photographer, it would be nice to be able to set a fixed payment for client selects payment plan so they can pay the booking fee/retainer then the remaining balance can be split into the payment plan they select

Is there any way to make a super admin a project owner?! 

All of our projects have more than one client, so the current setting that only allows automated tip reminders to populate for projects with a single client doesn’t work well for us.Is there a workaround for this? If not, is this something we could ask the development team to consider changing?Since multi-client projects are standard for us, it would be really helpful if automated tip reminders could populate regardless of the number of clients attached to a project.

Hi everyone! I’m fairly new to honeybook and need some help with communicating with my contractors! I have an entertainment company which means I contract out to dozens of entertainers for that particular event.  I’d love to find a way to seamlessly be able to communicate with them or send a calendar invite to them when they are booked.  Does anyone know a way to work around this? Also, to pay them through honeybook would be even more amazing. 

Right now, the message a prospect leaves when they book an initial consultation (lead form inquiry) does not show in the client’s Communication tab or in the project activity feed. That makes it hard to reference later when you’re working in the Projects section. Please add an option to store that initial inquiry message in the project activity feed (and/or the client’s Communication history) so it’s easy to find alongside the rest of the project conversation! It’s only logical.

We are a wedding venue and I need to be able to see a report of totals of each service/ item sold each month. This includes bar sales, deposits, rentals, gratuity etc. I think this has been asked before over the years and still hasn’t been created?  I switched over from Square invoicing this year to honeybook and am starting to rethink it.  If anyone knows of a workaround or a way to do this please help! Right now I have to open each invoice and manually write out what was sold from each sale. 

I want to make some changes to the email template sent letting clients know that their payment has been completed (payment notice) for recurring invoices, but I cannot for the life of me locate that template. It is not listed in the Preferences > Actions section, those are mostly pre-payment notices.This is the email that is sent as a receipt of payment.Anyone know where I can find this and update it?

I’m wondering if it’s possible to change the text to this ⬇(see picture).  I specifically want to change, “We’ll be in touch with you shortly”. I have searched all over the place for an answer but to no avail. Help! (Also, thank you ahead of time for any help 😁) 

A client with a tight timeline submitted their initial inquiry via my website using the embedded contact form from honeybook, they then followed up right afterward to my direct email address with the same info, expressing that it was a tight deadline and needed to hear back asap. I didn’t get the contact form notification from honeybook until two days after they submitted it. I would have lost this work had they not reached out directly to my email after submitting the contact form. Two days delayed notification is WAY too long to wait to be notified someone has tried to contact you. After contacting honeybook they said that they have to manually review inquiries as it could be spam. Why are they manually reviewing these and if they are, why am i not notified about the actual submission date or that it was flagged as potential spam. I still receive random inquires i know to be spam without an flag etc. 

Are there any plans for having an SMS option to communicate with our clients? I feel like having this option would be very helpful.
