I hate that there is still no option to embed images into the body of an email. I need to do this for client reviews! I first mentioned this back in 2023, and still nothing has been done about it. I don’t understand why HoneyBook won’t allow it when all other email platforms do. HoneyBook, any solution? The “attach images” option is not what I’m looking for.

I love Honeybook, but there are two things that that I’d love to see changed in the system. Recently, I've had couples who want to pay their invoices early. Because I have a payment schedule they're unable to do that. I didn't even know this until tonight when I was in a meeting with one of my couples and they mentioned that they tried to pay me early and couldn't do it. I had to tell them to pay me through a different online payment system instead. Is there a reason why clients are unable to pay the balance on invoices early? Also scheduling meetings can be a hassle. I have a few weddings where the couple with family members are all included on the project. In this case, the Bride, her mom, and her grandparent, attend all the meetings. However, when I book a meeting in their project, only the Bride gets the notification, link, and reminders about the meeting. The honeybook notetaker decided I was a man because my name is Toby. I am not. I don’t like my clients seeing notes that misrepresent that. Is there away to tell Honeybook my gender? If not, that should be added so that the notes are reflected accurately.

Is there a way to add an automation to add bookmarks to the client portal? If not, is there a setting to always have the same bookmarks in the client portal? Or do we have to add them manually to every project?

For future users easy of use of Honeybook...I am looking for A condition that is if someone reads my email that I sent in the automation there need top be a condition that would then move to yes or no choice automatically. And I can use this automation with any project (not having to create a project template file to send). I am wanting Honeybook to work harder for me, Not me work hard for Honeybook. Doug

Hello.   I feel like I am missing a step.   I placed my contact information, services etc all in building out my company.   for speed of getting agreements and proposals out, after I build a contact, I want to be able to use my contract and proposals shells without having to re-type all of the information i just put in and have it merge into the documents.   when I was setting everything up, I thought I completed all of the information like clauses, detail, etc.   What am I missing and can someone share with me steps so I can go back and track what I am missing?thanks  

We have a deep inventory of rental items for our wedding venue that we’ve housed on google sheets within a google drive.  We transposed most of those items into a workable Honeybook catalog for our clients to pick and choose items and see the costs associated with their selection.    As we add and change items, we would like to use Honeybook to summarize our inventory to eliminate redundancy.

Hello! I used to be a Honeybook user for my business and I am now getting married and some of my vendors use honeybook. When I try to login on the client side to download my contract - it logs me into my business account where I can not access them. Is there a way to login as a client with the same email used for my business account? Thanks for your help!

​When manually changing date/time info in client project, HB locks in 8-12 timing, and I can't change it on desktop platform, only on mobile app

I just noticed this change and I’m hoping it’s temporary. I used to be able to go to my calendar, click on a session, and there would be a link to the project. Now, it just pops up with a side bar with the basic information of time, host and attendees. It’s also making an in-person session look like a phone call, which is incorrect. Was there a setting changed somewhere that I can change back? Or if this is a permanent design change, can we not? LOL  Edit: I did click on the attendee and saw that it was clickable (not obvious) and that I could then click to view contact or view project. So it’s great that I could still do this, but it takes me 3 clicks instead of 2. Not that big of a deal, but I always think the best designs are fewer clicks than more. 

im trying to funnel my meta ad leads into my automation and I was excited because I've found videos and documentation of it being possible online from about a year to two years back but when I look for the card in integrations its missing. I reached out to support and they said the feature is being removed?! They also said to make a ticket here to show interest and express how this feature is vital and important to a CRM system like honeybook. Makes me less confident in using HB. Anyone have a work around or advice?

I noticed that we are no longer able to add individual items to a proposal, only services now? We cater charcuterie boards, so we have lots of add-ons/sizes. We often will have a client who wants to add on a smaller board with their order, and I’m not able to add any of our saved items anymore. We certainly have pre-built templates that we can use, but adding individual elements to these templates essentially reintroduces the problem. Customer support suggested I add each of the items we sell as a service; however, I cannot imagine this is in any way the best way to use this feature or practical for anyone using HB and sells individually items, not services. I feel as though this has added lots of dirty data, and created services that are not actual service offerings. What are your thoughts here?

Change Pipeline View for Different Companies on Mobile!Currently you can change the pipeline view between companies on the desktop but not mobile. It would be extremely helpful to be able to do this same function on mobile when managing more than one company under the same account.

Is anyone else still having trouble setting up mini sessions?? I thought they made it more mainstream, but I for the life of me can’t set it up. I just want to tell it what days I'm hosting and what days people can book and have them pay and it’s like the death of me 😭

Ya’ll, when I tell you the amount of times I want to rip my hair out from this. I LOVE the ability to create pricing guides, proposals, welcome packs for my clients but my LANTA honey books customizations are limited. I want nothing more than to freely move text, image blocks and other details around without being confined to a limited block. I want to stack my text without gapping, I want to overlap images. Having to go back between creating in Canva and then uploading to Honeybook is a waste of time. 

How do I create SOME ITEMS to be recurring and others to be one-time fees on my invoice?

I’m incredibly upset that HB has decided to sunset a key piece of the tool & picked a random date in Sept vs. waiting until the end of the year to do so. it is really frustrating that they did not reach out to heavy users of this feature to let them know in advance. the support chats have been filled with the same info as the banner (e.g. use another tool that you have to pay for to do the same job this included feature did) i have a large government contract that requires the invoices in a certain format - which are fed by the entries i put into time tracker & then create an invoice from them. this change will now mean that my invoices will be out of compliance. will anyone else experience something similar (e.g. a change in their business process) due to this change? 

I am finding the mobile app extremely frustrating and making it hard to enjoy and truly use honeybooks. I am on the go all the time and mainly run my business from my mobile. The fact that I cannot complete a client file from mobile doesn’t make sense.  Also have a template set like a proposal and I can’t edit it unless on a desktop is extremely frustrating. I either don’t want to pull out my laptop or am not around to do that.  honey book please if you are going to keep users please update your mobile app as it’s making me want to cancel my subscription. 

I don’t want to send tip reminders to my clients.I don’t want to be reminded I can send tip reminders to my clients. Asking someone like this would be like a server at a restaurant going up to a table and saying “Do you want to tip me now?”It is rude and I am not going to use this optionI already get to many notifications on my laptop and on my phone.Please stop harassing me with notifications about tip reminders.

I’m having a huge problem with tasks, when I try to sort by due date/time, it rarely sorts them correctly in chronological order by due date/time.  On every project it will randomly sort one or two tasks incorrectly.  This happens even more often if i create a new task that is due before an existing task.  Super frustrating. Is there a fix for this?

Hello Forum. I’m hoping you can help me troubleshoot my client’s issues. Once, she’s unable to receive emails sent from Honeybook. I use a link from HB to share her client portal, and she has now sent me a note saying she cannot access.From client:I’m also trying to get into the portal to answer the questions but it is saying “something went wrong accessing your file” Do you have any idea what might have happened? Any help you can provide will be appreciated. Gail

I understand all businesses, the longer they are in business, and the more they improve, the more the cost goes up. The price increase honestly still has me SHOOK and if not for all of my financial info & client info & communication being kept in one place, I would 100% be switching platforms due to the increase. I am still wondering if it’s even worth it…BUT I still love Honeybook, and considering it’s SO difficult to transfer from HB to another CRM, I’ve decided to stay for at least another year. I was hoping with the price increase would come some awesome changes… instead, I keep feeling like these edits are purely for aesthetics or are fixing something that wasn't broken to begin with. I can't understand, thus far, how the price increase is justified. I like the platform less with these updates.The things I’m not loving the most are:Scheduling - why can't I just add a simple schedule link to email anymore? TASKS - the new tab is so inconvenient… Can y'all PLEASE put it back

I like the idea of being able to pass on processing fees for credit card transactions. I currently still cover the processing fees for ACH transactions since I believe it is only 1.5% and I still want to have an easy way for clients to pay without feeling like there are so many fees. It’s also easier for me so I don’t have to chase down checks or cash. Is there an option in the future to add a toggle feature to where you can toggle to add processing fees for credit cards and untoggle fees for ach transactions? If there was also a way to let the client pay on their account freely without having to create additional invoices, that would be amazing too. Similar to how you pay bills. 

I just logged into HoneyBook today and noticed they’ve added galleries, and I’m really curious to hear everyone’s thoughts!I’ve been using ShootProof for over 10 years as a photographer, and I currently use it for both gallery delivery and long-term archiving. I love how easy it is to set up a gallery and quickly send it off to a client, so I’m wondering how HoneyBook’s galleries compare.A few questions I have: Is the gallery feature included with the current HoneyBook membership, or is there an additional fee? Are galleries able to be archived long-term, or is this more designed for smaller projects and quick delivery? How does the client experience compare to ShootProof? I actually already sent a gallery out through HoneyBook today, and I have to say the convenience of having everything in one place is really appealing. I’d love to hear from photographers who have tested it out!
