Upset with the sunset of time tracker

I’m incredibly disappointed to see HoneyBook remove the Time Tracker feature without offering a proper replacement.

As a professional organizer, tracking time is an essential part of how I run my business. I use HoneyBook not only for contracts and invoices, but to keep my client projects, team hours, and billing organized in one place. The Time Tracker was a huge part of that.

What’s even more frustrating is that I’m far from alone. Many professional organizers in my organizing community use HoneyBook in the same way, and there is a lot of frustration and disappointment about this change.

Removing a feature that businesses actively rely on without replacing it with something comparable feels like a major step backwards. We shouldn’t have to introduce another app, another subscription, and another system just to replace a basic function that was already built into the platform we’re paying for.

I really hope HoneyBook listens to the feedback from its users and either reinstates the Time Tracker or introduces a replacement that allows us to easily track hours by client and project.

For service-based businesses that bill hourly, this isn’t an “extra” feature. It’s an essential one.

I completely agree with this. I was especially shocked that there was no warning and it was done in the middle of the year. Now I’m not going to have accurate records with all of my clients because it’s a huge pain to transfer the data to another platform.

I also was able to easily create hourly invoices for those clients! It helped me track everything in one place. Very, very disappointed.

Beyond upset, absolutely LIVID!

NO WARNING is just a flat insult to its customers.

I’ve been with HB for YEARS.  These time tracking tools are how I generate INCOME!!

Even a 30 day notice would have been less disruptive

I have spent 3 hours today so far trying to do damage control here.  I don’t find either of the options they’re suggesting to work for me either so I've created an Excel file for it.

I don’t understand why they had to do it like this and it is absolutely ungrateful on their part.  Way to show the customers they don’t actually care about what we do for our businesses.

I have been a vocal HB supporter to my pro friends for years, too.

Just beyond disappointed here.
