Limitations for my workflow

HoneyBook is a really great system, and works really well for my business. But there are a few things that don’t operate in the way that I would want, and I think they would be great improvements for the system

  1. The main issue I have is that there is no way to send just an estimate, with regular line items taxes and totals, with no pay page, that can then be converted into an invoice. Even on an estimate template, if I want to be able to add line items I need to add an invoice block, which comes with a pay page. But when I send my customers estimates they are not ready to pay yet, it’s just to show them how much it will cost
  2. Another thing about templates, is that they are a little buried. When I go to create a file from a project, I have to choose smart file, then remember which type of file it was or if it was a custom, and find it. It would be so much easier if I can have my most used templates right away on the screen when clicking create file.
  3. The QuickBooks integration leaves some things to be desired. The main thing for me is not being able to sync different tax rates, which is a big part of my billing.
  4. There are a lot of unnecessary fields in project details and customer profiles that I don’t need, that cannot be removed. It just pollutes the screen with unnecessary data and makes it harder for me to find the information I actually need. Would be great if those fields were fully customizable so I can keep it to what I actually need.

If anyone found any solutions or workarounds to any of these things, please share. And if any HoneyBook worker sees this, maybe you can work on these.

Thank you.
