Automations 2.0

Question

I really want to like the update automations, but there are somethings that are immediately frustrating. I’m trying to create an automation that will guide by booking process from lead form, connection call, proposal to signing/payment. But some key abilities are missing.

Wait function does not allow for reminder to be send leading up to a scheduled call.
Wait or condition function does not allow actions based on status changes
You can’t automatically update tags based on condition.

All of this means I have to set up multiple automations to complete one process. Has anyone found a workaround or am I missing something?

That said, HoneyBook is actively working on expanding automation capabilities, and they’ve been rolling out changes based on community feedback.I’d recommend submitting these ideas in the Ideas section of the Community, or upvoting them if they’re already posted. It’s one of the best ways to help HoneyBook prioritize which features to build next—especially for planners, photographers, and service pros building more advanced workflows. 💛
