Cancellation Addendum

Question

Hi everyone! I’m working on creating a cancellation addendum for my Event Agreement, and I’d like to pull in a smart field for the actual date the client signed the contract (the "[Execution Date of Underlying Agreement]"). However, I didn’t see that specific field in the dropdown options. Is there a way to pull that date (or similar data) into the cancellation addendum?

For reference, here’s the text I’m working with:

AMENDMENT
TERMINATION AND RELEASE OF EVENT AGREEMENT

This Amendment (“Amendment”) to the Event Agreement entered into on [Execution Date of Underlying Agreement] (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into as of [Execution Date of Amendment] (the “Effective Date”) by and between [CUSTOMER NAME] (“Customer”) and [SERVICE PROVIDER NAME] (“Service Provider”). Collectively, Customer and Service Provider may be referred to as the “Parties”.

​@Rob Nicpon-Great question—this is such a smart way to keep your cancellation addendum aligned with the original agreement!While the system doesn’t currently include a default smart field for the execution date of the original contract, a great workaround is to use a Custom Field Type.
