Hello,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention some accessibility challenges my staff has encountered while using the HoneyBook platform. I have visually impaired staff member who relies on accessible technology to manage his work effectively, he has noticed that certain features of your platform pose barriers for himself and likely other individuals with disabilities.

Specifically, he has observed the need for:

  • Higher contrast options
  • Options to reduce white point
  • Ability to change text size

Ensuring digital accessibility not only promotes inclusivity but also aligns with legal standards such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). By addressing these concerns, HoneyBook can better serve all users and reinforce its commitment to providing an excellent user experience for everyone.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could share any plans HoneyBook has to enhance accessibility. If you’re open to user feedback, he is happy to provide further details or assist in testing updates to improve the platform.

Hi @FatimaN!

I know it’s been about 4 months since you posted this, but I wanted to thank you for speaking up and advocating for your team this kind of feedback is so important. I am a HoneyBook Pro and while I don’t work for HoneyBook directly, I am able to share feedback with the team directly, so I’ve passed this along to @Kait M.

I’d also recommend submitting this through the Ideas tab inside your HoneyBook account if you haven’t already. It’s a direct way for the product team to track and prioritize user requests, especially those related to accessibility.

Thank you again for bringing this to light.

Hi @Kaitlyn Blair ,

Thank you for passing this along to @Kait M I will also submit this through the ideas tab. We love using Honeybook for our business but it is unfortunate that one of our team members is not able to use it with the rest of us.
