Make proposals easily shareable with anyone without having to input their information in the project for example we do weddings and with our clients sometimes needing to share our proposals with the wedding planners or the brides parents who would like to pay I know tave has this feature where it is easier to share.

Would the Get Shareable link do what you are wanting? But yes I believe they need to be added to the project. We do this by making a workspace with the people that need access.

Maybe this isn't kosher or smart. But I think you can make a "fake" contact. Say pay@cielo.com aka your website. Then use the share link feature.

Send that to the client. They can share the link with whomever. But then also include that the email to login to the smart file is pay@cielo.com

It might also be best to make the pay@cielo.com a real accessible email address on your end.

Its definitely hacky. But I think this might be a workaround

@Cielo Cinematic -  This is such a great point—especially in the wedding industry where there are often multiple decision-makers involved in the booking and payment process. I completely understand the need to make proposals more easily shareable without having to manually input every contact into the project.

At the moment, HoneyBook proposals are tied directly to the primary contact in a project, so there isn’t a built-in way to generate a general-access link or share with outside parties without entering their details. That said, a possible workaround is to use the “Send Link” option when sharing a Smart File. While it’s still tied to the project, this does allow you to copy and paste the file link into an email or message, which your client can then forward to someone else (like a planner or parent).

If having a more public-facing or permission-based sharing option is something you'd find valuable, I highly recommend submitting it as a feature request in the Ideas section of the HoneyBook Community. It’s the best way to get your voice heard and help the team prioritize features that meet real-world use cases like yours. 💛
