Adding multiple clients to a project

Devon McWilliams

Hi,

Typically when I deal with a wedding couple I do most of my email interaction with just one person instead of both of them. And typically the  Groom is not as involved last the bride so I don't usually get his email info and I don't want to bother him with so many emails.   How can I enter in is name as an additional client on the project without having to enter his email.  This would help the auto insert names on contracts.

Thanks!

Devon

Hi @Devon McWilliams!

What I’d recommend doing is to add Groom’s name as a custom project field, here’s how to do that. You can then connect it to your contract as a smart field (it should come up under project fields) - making it editable by the client in case there are any typos - and to your original intake survey where the Bride can fill it out herself, so you don’t have to touch that field 🙌

However, for cases where you do want to add the Groom to your communication (or the mother of the Bride - which, as practice shows, can happen!), you can use related workspaces to create different feeds within the same project.

I hope this helps!
