All of a sudden the messages "opened" doesn't show as opened

Hello all, from one day to the next the messages "opened" doesn't show as opened. I did a test with a friend, hovered over the little envelope - and it still shows as “sent”, even though it was opened. Any ideas why? This is the first time this has happened, as its always worked before.

I've noticed the same thing over the past year to be honest, and it's part of a larger trend across email and messaging platforms. Many providers, including email clients, have implemented stricter privacy measures (like Apple's Mail Privacy Protection) that prevent tracking mechanisms from accurately recording opens or other user interactions.

Essentially, what used to be a reliable indicator for "opened" is now harder to track. HoneyBook and similar platforms might not recover the same open rate data as before because these changes are designed to protect end-user privacy.

While this doesn’t offer a solution for ya I hope it does offer clarity as to what’s happening!
