Hello,

With the invoicing system we are leaving our clients are able to choose an amount to pay. Say they owe $8000 and have money to make a payment outside of the regular schedule. They open their invoice and choose an amount to pay. With this I do not need to change their payment schedule or make any edits at all. What is the best way to make something like this work?

There is a feature request for this! You can upvote it if you'd like to see this feature added!

Absolutely!!! I don’t know why this is such a hassle with HoneyBook. They do so much right, but then get major things like this wrong. Hopefully we’ll be seeing a resolution to this with the upcoming feature updates!

FYI: For a current workaround to this glaring issue, our business created a Square account with a custom payment amount option page. We then have a link on our payment page in HoneyBook directing clients who’d like to make a “Custom Payment Amount” to that Square page. After the client sends in their payment, we update the HoneyBook invoice manually.

It’s a bummer to have to do this, but this is working solution so far! :)
