Archiving time entries

Is there a way to “archive” time entries when you’ve sent an invoice for that particular time entry? I have some hourly clients and it would be so nice to be able to see which entries I haven’t invoiced for yet.

Hi Amy! I’m Justin, and I work on the help center here. You can quickly sort your logged time by clicking on the “Invoiced” column header. This will sort the list by invoiced and non-invoiced hours so you can more quickly bill your non-invoiced hours.

I’m sure you’re aware that these are per-project so you don’t accidentally bill the wrong client as well.

Let me know if this is what you were looking for!

Hi -

That column does not exist on my main time tracker screen.

This is the screen we do invoicing from so we can do it all without moving between projects.

Hey @Amy Kant ! Could you try accessing the time tracker through a project? That column doesn’t appear if you access your time tracker through the top nav bar. Here’s how to access the time tracker through a project:

  1. From the top nav menu, select Projects
  2. Select the project you want to check your billed hours for
  3. In the right menu (it’ll be gray), select the hours logged in the “Time Tracker” section

From here, you should have an Invoiced column. Can you let me know if you see that?

Yes, I can access it through the project -- it would just be easier for my workflow if I could access from the main time tracker.
