Is there a way to auto populate the project address when scheduling a session? I currently have to exit out of the scheduler, then copy/paste the address and go back. Is this a feature?

Hi everyone!

We heard you and we're so sorry for the disruption we caused by removing the address auto-complete functionality without notice.
Here's what happened: we are transitioning to a new provider and realized that removing this functionality during the transition interfered with your work considerably.

Here's what we're doing about it: auto-complete has been restored to all account while we complete the transition to our new service provider.

We encourage you to share feedback to make sure everything is working as expected.

TLDR: We re-installed the original auto-complete while we roll out our new service provider to all members. We will make sure it is stable and working properly while we expand the transition.

Your feedback means the world to us, even and especially when we don't get it right.

Thank you!

Hi Kristen! I’m Justin, and I work on the help center here at HoneyBook. It sounds like you’re asking about scheduling from the project workspace and pulling the address into the “Location” field. if that’s the case, automatically pulling that in isn’t available just yet, but we’d love to hear more about this! Could you create a feature request and let us know what this ideally would look like for you?

Hey Justin!

I found this thread when searching for this feature as well. I actually used to be able to type in a few letters of a location (i.e. “Empire State Building”), and it would give a drop down option of selecting the exact address.

I had no problem using this feature and was able to seamlessly do it since mid-2022 I believe, but it stopped working about a week or two ago.

Can you please confirm if/when this will be resolved? Thanks!

AGREE 100%. The location drop down doesn’t work anymore. I cannot think of a reason why HB would make life harder vs easier, but that’s where we’re at.

This is the WEIRDEST feature to get rid of! Talk about a nightmare of having to double and triple check addresses now, when HB was able to auto-populate this for years.

Hi everyone! Kait here from the Community team. I want to say thank you on behalf of the Product team for the candid feedback on the changes made to functionality that supports auto-populating location. They have heard your frustration and are working on a fix to re-instate this functionality. We will update this thread in the next few days when the testing process is complete to ensure it works as expected (we don’t want bugs!). You’ll see this update either from me or from @Monica

@Kait M  I did notice yesterday that location auto-population still works beautifully in the app. It is only the desktop version (for me anyway) that lost the feature.

Hoping to have it return! Thanks for the update.

I just messaged with them regarding this feature as well and there’s no ETA on when it will return.  Headed into fall season as a family photographer, busiest season of my year, with now having to copy and paste every single address and I have no gift card function to offer my clients for black friday.  It’s been a frustrating few months here.
