As a venue manager and a BRAND SPANKIN’ (yes, I am from the South! 😀) NEW HBK User, I want to integrate a HBK calendar with my website that will display a monthly view for  “Booked” vs “Available $####” events so that clients can easily see if their preferred date is available and the respective rental fee for their preferred date from the website.

  1. Client will have VIEW only rights to calendar from the website, no edit rights; Clients will have no access to the calendar via HBK.
  2. BOOKED” will display in RED; “AVAILABLE $####”  (rental fee)” will display in Green. A third event “NOT AVAILABLE” will display in Black. All calendar events will be entered and managed by HBK User. The font or a highlight can be colored.
  3. At least two years of monthly calendars should be available on website. I understand that I will have to add the respective events, as well as maintain their accuracy in HBK.  Additional years will be added as time progresses.
  4. I have integrated with Google Calendar and would like these 3 events to also auto push updates to my google calendar.
  5. Edits to Calendar in HBK will auto update Website.

I am unable to create the calendar with the above functionality.  Any steps to complete or advice is appreciated.  I am also under a time crunch to get this implemented.  Thanks to all!

Hi @Judy Hampton!

At the moment, there isn’t a way to embed a “view only” calendar view, so the best way to reach your desired result with current functionality would be to create a lead form with a scheduler block. The scheduler block will only show your (or the venue’s) availability and enable people to book it. However, what you could do is to add an invoice page to the lead form - preventing people booking those spots without paying a deposit.

Let me know if this helped with your use case :)

If an embeddable, read only calendar is an important feature, please share it with our Product team in the Feature Request section!

I am growing incredibly frustrated with HB updates lately.

First, it became that I would need to add recipients to emails (to answer inquiries) I send when previously I did not have to do that, adding more steps to answering emails.

Now when I want to send a scheduling link in an email instead of linking to the scheduler in my text, it adds a whole bunch of text. This update is poorly designed and executed. If I received an email like this as client it would be confusing to read and to know what to do next. Now as the user to work around this I have to open a new tab, go to my scheduler, copy the link, paste the link. When previously, I could just click the add scheduler link button within the email.

Is there a way to opt out of this change?
