My question is, if I have clients who need to request work, how can they do that and have it automatically create the project in Honeybook? Can this be done in the client portal?

Hi Robert, Elli from the Education team here!

This is a great question. To clarify, the client portal is essentially the client-side view of a project.

The only way that a client can create a new project is by submitting your lead form or contact form. There’s no way other for a client to manually create a new project outside of that - though you can always manually create a new project from your end, if needed.

So, if a client would like to request work, you might want to make sure you have a link to your lead form or contact form handy for them. Or, your client can go into an existing project and send you a message, after which point you could manually create a new project for them.

I hope this makes sense - let me know if you have any questions or if I can assist further!
