I already created invoice, contracts, and proposal templates. Just curious if i give a client a discount can I edit the template right before sending to the client?

If so how do i edit template right before sending to the client in the Projects Pipeline or just sending to clients in general?

Im still new at using Honebook so I apologize in advance if this seems obvious to other people.

Hi there! Elli from the Education team at HoneyBook here. This is a great question and I’m happy to help!

You absolutely can edit a template before sending to a client. That’s the magic of templates - they’re amazing baseline docs that you can pull into projects again and again. Once you’ve pulled a template into a project, you can make edits that won’t affect the original template.

Do you have a project yet? Projects are shared workspaces through which you can communicate and share files with your client. Once you’ve created a project, select Create File > File type. From the pop-up that appears, you’ll be able to select a template to start working from.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions!
