Charging by the word

I’m a writer and editor so I charge by the word (ie. $0.035/word, etc.).

There doesn’t seem to be a way I can set up a service to charge this way. How might I go around this so that I can charge clients an accurate amount and not worry about having to edit payment schedules in the middle of a contract (which might sow confusion and/or anger)?

The best way to do this is by doing a time tracker and make a invoice like this

But also you can make a digital brochure and set up too 300 words and package it like .35x300 is 105.

And when they select it you and they can see what you charge.

If you need help you can DM me.

Thanks for the idea. That’s a good workaround for my writing projects (that I will definitely use) but it won’t work for my editing projects because it varies client to client based on how long their document is.

Sorry, Errole. the images didn’t come through while reading it through email but I now I see you did solve my by-the-word issue by just using units as a stand-in for words. I was skeptical it would allow me to enter enough units but it lets me go as high as I need. Thanks a bunch!
