Client can't access client portal

I have a client that can’t login to the client portal. When sent there via an invoice link, it does not recognize his email address. I double-checked the email address and that is the one in the project.

Then I went to send him a direct link to the portal, but that option is not available on the project. I’m not sure why when it is available on other projects. 

This is the only project for this client, so it is not an issue of the portal link redirecting him to old projects.

Any ideas? I can’t find a way to get through to Honeybook support to troubleshoot this.
