Comments on Appointments not populated in platform

When a client books a session, there is the option to add Comments.  These comments are seen in the email that comes in.  These comments are not found anywhere in the HB protal though - not pulled into the scheduler, not found in the project, no where else…

I review my calendar regularly and ensure I am prepared in advance for things.  However, I have gone into a few meetings and have been blindsided on expectations only to find out that if I go back and search for the booking email to read it, there was comments.  Yet there was nothing in the appointment itself or in the client’s project - which is the program I use for communicating and preparing for my clients - that’s what I’m paying for.

Why is there a function within HB being given to the clients that book a session in the HB portal, if we cannot find that information in the HB portal?

To me, this is a crucial field that needs to be pulled into the appointment itself (just like Google and Outlook does).  The data is already being collected - to what means though if it isn’t visible?

Hi @Erin McKay and @Joy Michelle

Thank you for posting about this. I do not see this on the roadmap yet, but you can head over to our feature request section and submit a new request for this to put it in our product team’s radar.

@kitzzy what was the intention/purpose/plan of having that field then?

Hi @Erin Taylor,

It’s similar to Calendly where you can submit a comment that shows up in the calendar invite for both parties to let you know what to discuss in the meeting. I agree it would be useful to see this within HoneyBook itself, so I encourage you to submit this as a feature request and @Joy Michelle can upvote it and add in additional details to give it more traction.

Thanks!
