Hi @Scott Paulk

Thanks for reaching out. You can indeed archive a project. Check out this help article for details.

Does this help resolve your question?

Thanks,

Kitzzy

yes when you archive it, it removes it from the completed section. i want to mark it as completed but still have it archive, so i can see how many completed jobs ive done.

Hi Scott,

Are you referring to a file, or an entire project?

If.entore project, Have you tried moving it to the completed stage in your pipeline? Even if you do archive it, you should be able to pull a report of completed projects in the Reports section of your HB account.

If you're referring to a Smartfile, you would definitely want to complete the file as opposed to archiving it. I believe they just released the feature to manually complete a project, even if your client doesn't. (For example, I have a Next Steps page for some of my files. The clients view it but don't hit COMPLETE button, which makes the file look incomplete even if it's not.)

Hope this helps!

Entire project. Even for both. I want to archive it but still be able to see my total amount of projects as well. Last time I tried archiving I had to and find the projects individually. I want to be able to mark as completed and Seychelles do they don’t clutter up my active projects

Sorry typo. I want to be able to archive and mark as completed and remove it from cluttering up my active projects

Regarding the archive.  It would be nice to have an option in the AUTOMATION that once the file is completed that we have an option to add a section to automatically archive the project.

Hey @Scott Paulk, I actually just replied to you in a different thread too haha.

I think archiving with the reason of “completed” should do the trick in this case, right?

when i use completed it still stays in my active project area. i want to have all the completed projects in their own spot and not in my active projects area. it clutters the active projects up. i want to look at my completed projects and count how many ive done without looking thru my active ones. the active projects that i want to see are the ones that have not been completed yet

Hey Scott, I hear you -- You’re referencing moving them to the Completed stage.

But I’m actually talking about something different here -- have you tried marking them as Archived with the reason for archiving as “completed”? I think that will solve this for you!

What to do with completed projects? -- this is a great Help Center article with more details too.

I just notched this. When I go to completed as the reason to archive. Where does it go? It’s mixed in with all the other archived projects from years past. Is there a way to just see archived completed projects for this year? Thanks for the help

Sure thing -- so it will go to the “Archived” bucket at the end of the pipeline.

While all archived project land there after you archive them, you can scroll to the right to view the column for “archive reason” and filter ascending/descending for that column to view those that are “completed” grouped together that way.
