Hello,

  1. I want a simple way to send the CONFIRMATION SHEET to the client 3 days before the event. How can I send an email to them with their PREVIOUSLY SIGNED confirmation sheet. IDEALLY it would just be plaintext right in the mail…. but I guess I would settle for a linke or something. How can I accomplish this? I say plaintext beacuse then people can just reply to the email and make any changes if needed…

2.I want to auto-send an email when they fill out a lead form on my site. Just something that says “I got your email and I will reply shortly” How can I accomplish this?

  1. After the project is marked as “complete” I want to auto-send a thank-you email for hiring me. This includes a link to a google review. What is the best way to automate these emails that go out AFTER the event date. I dont want it fully automatic because I’d like to include a personal touch about the event. Right now I have a template that I modifiy and then I manaully send it. Just wondering if thats the best way or not

  2. How do I search or find previous customers from last year and send them a little reminder to let them book for this year.  AGain i’ve been doing it manually, but if something when out like 8 months before their next event, I think that timing would be good.

If someone can tell me how to do this. If someone wants a bit of money to help me do it - let me konw. I am not looking to spend much though. Mostly just needs a little guideade or samles to see how the flow works.

(Existing flow.
> online feed form
> I use a temlate to craft a reply and send the price
> They email back to confirmation. I make a confirmation sheet for them to SIGN.

> They sign it. Then I sign i.
>day before show I sent them their event details to make sure nothing changed
> day after show I sent them a thank-you email with a Google Review link

To re-send a previously signed contract, you would have to do it manually. You can only automate sending new files.

To auto-send an email after someone has filled out a lead form, create an automation workflow and attach it to your lead form.

Any emails inside your automation workflows can be fully automated, or set to “require approval before sending”. That’s the option you’ll want to use for your email containing Google review links. In that scenario, HoneyBook will prep your template and notify you that an email is ready to be sent, and you’ll have the option to modify it before sending it yourself. Inside the automations you can also specify X# of days after the project date.

To send a reminder email to previous clients, keep their project active and again set up an automation workflow that will either pull these emails for you or automatically send them at a specific point of time.

Hope that helps!

Hey @TheTrickster Sandra explained this well! the only thing I'd add is for Question #1, here are 2 options:

1. you can automate an email with a link to the client portal and instruct client to open and review the file.

2. You can use smart fields to enter the review items directly into the body of the email.

Have you had any issues with people not seeing the email the day before? Personally I'd send that email more than 1 day in advance - sometimes it takes people 24 Hours just to read an email, nevermind make changes :)

I do offer consulting calls if you still are looking for assistance here!
