Contact Form - Customizing Submission Message

Hi all! I’m hoping someone can help clear this up for me. I’m working on setting up a contact form for a client; they would like the submitter to be directed to a custom “Thank You” message upon submitting the form. So far, it doesn’t seem like this is an option - is this correct? Does anyone have a workaround for this?

There’s a string preference in having the TY message be customized rather than generic, but they don’t want the submitter directed to their website at this point.

Hi Natalia! I’m Justin, and I work on the help center team here. Are you setting up a HoneyBook account for your client, just providing them a contact form as part of your services, or something else? I ask because while a custom confirmation page isn’t currently available, you can set up an automation that triggers after a contact form is created that can send an email.

Would this help here?

Hi Justin 🙂

They’ve had their account for some time now but have hired me to set up automation and update their forms and overall processes. Currently, I’m just setting up the contact form, and we would like a custom confirmation, which you confirmed isn’t available. I think, however, we found a workaround; the web developer is going to set up a hidden page within their website with the custom thank you, and we’ll use that link to re-direct upon submission 😊
