Contact Form vs Lead form

I used to have a contact form embedded on my website (which seems not to be so compatible, would take longer to load on the page than the lead form does) and once I received an inquiry, I’d see the answers right away on the project, as well as the date of their event (which they inserted on the form while filling it out). Now I’m using the lead form embedded on my website, which is super fast to load on the website, BUT when I receive an inquiry, I receive the project without the date (same design and questions as the previous contact form) so I have to do it manually, AND the form becomes a file, which I have to open in order to view the answers, hated it. It’s so much harder when answering the emails, because I could just scroll down and see what I was trying to mention, instead of having to go to files, find the answer, back to the project, back to typing. So confusing.

Does anyone know how to NOT have the form answered as a file (like the contact form) ? And, how to use the lead form but the date of the project be automatically added to the project details (as the contact form does) ?

I’m honestly only using the lead form because it’s faster on the website (which brings my SEO up) and because I can add the scheduler, otherwise I wouldn't.

Hey @SAE Photo Film

Lead forms will always pull in as a file, but we’re working on a new feature that might be a solution for you.
The dev team is working on developing custom fields that you will be able to have in your lead form that will then show up in the Project Details tab of your workspace. When your client fills out these fields, you’ll be able to see the answers at a glance on that page. Stay tuned!
