custom service package

I currently offer a set of standard services, which are often combined to create a complete package. Is there a way to list all possible sub services I want to offer within a package so I or the client ultimately build a custom package?

Ideally, I would want to see the package as the main service item and then the sub services as line items with the package price total listed as it is customized. Right now the only way I’ve been able to do it shows the package as $0 at the top of the service selection box and each sub service has its own subtotal. Because I offer add on services to my package product, all of those totals get combined in the invoice total.

If you want the client to be able to make selections, you’ll have to list each service they can choose as it’s own individual service. Then you’d want to make sure you have the settings for “select multiple” so they can pick and choose what they want to add to build the package. As the client makes selections, everything will generate on the invoice as a separate line item with the total at the bottom of the invoice. As they are building the package they can see the total at the top of the screen next to the cart or list icon (which they can click and see an invoice).

Depending on how you structure what you’re calling the main package, you might need one service block to list the main package items that they choose from- for example, say you have the Gold, Silver, and Bronze main packages and they can only pick one. You’d add all 3 of those services to one service block and make that setting to be “select one”. Then you’d add another service block below that lists out all of the add-ons and that service block would be the “select multiple” setting so they can add on whatever additional services they need.

Let me know if that helps or if you have additional questions :)

Thanks for your response this was actually a little insight on my current issue. I’m creating a smart file and I would like the client to be able to select the options and basically build their package. I see you mentioned the “select multiple” option but im not finding it in Honeybook. Can you walk me through that step?

Thank you!

@Kenya Johnson When you have the services listed click the gear icon and choose the service selection from the following: select one, select multiple, or view only.

Here’s a little video I recorded to show you exactly where to find those setting for your smart file.

Let me know if you have any other questions :)

It was very helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time. I added a services page to the file. Thanks again.
