In a smart file on my sub services, I want there to be photos of each of the sub services. However when the client reached the invoice page, I do not want them to see the images attached to the subservices there. If I remove the images in the sub services in the invoice, then the images on the sub services on the services page will also disappear. And this appears to be a bug! Please help!

Hi @djzazu,

Thank you so much for flagging this. I had to hop onto a test account to try this out myself, and I see what you mean that the UI here is not consistent so it looks like a bug. However, even though the settings to turn images on and off look different in the services page vs the invoice page, images for sub-services between the two pages are connected so if you turn it off in one it would not appear in the other one either.

Let me know if this helps, or you can contact support who can take a closer look at your account and help you further troubleshoot this.

Thanks,

Kitzzy

Have you tested photos for the main services? It is currently possible to have a photo on the service page while at the same time hiding that photo on the invoice page. This indicates that photo visibility is not “connected” as you say.

for example, I have a main service with a subservice on the service selection page with a photo next to both the main service and the subservice. Then I go to the invoice page and configure it to show the selected service this time without any photos for any main service or subservice. When I go back to the service selection page to confirm that the photos are still there, I can see the photo for the main service still there but the photo for the subservice has been removed. This indicates an inconsistency in how the photos visibility can be configured between the service selection page and the invoice page.

please continue to test this further and let me know if you are able to find a solution. This will give the customer experience a consistent polish that I find important!

Hi @djzazu,

Thanks for this additional details. Can you share screenshots of what you are seeing during each of these steps? I want to make sure I’m replicating it properly on my end and not looking at something different.

Thanks,

Kitzzy

Certainly, please see the attached screenshots and their captions. Please note the service page is view only, and I have activated the option to automatically show the services in the invoice
