Don't want client to have access to portal

I did a test run on sending proposal to my personal email.  I did not check box to send client portal access link but when I tested my email, it showed full access to the portal on the last page!  How do I disable this? It looked like it showed all created and deleted files I made when first creating my files in honeybook for this client when I logged in as a potential client.  I don’t want then to see this.

Now, you can enable or disable linking to the client portal from the files and messages you send, on a project-by-project basis. This update gives you control over when and how clients access the portal, ensuring a smoother and more professional experience!

Hi @Allison Fernandez ! Were you testing while logged into your personal email, or using an incognito window?

When a client is logged into the portal, they get a different experience than you do. They should only be able to see files you’ve published and sent them. And, with the new notes feature, you can also determine which Notes you share with them or keep private.

If you were already logged into your Honeybook account, it may have realized it was you and logged you in as the business owner.

Here’s the Honeybook help article on how the Client portal looks from the client side: https://help.honeybook.com/en/articles/6428603-your-clients-experience-with-the-client-portal

Hope this helps!

That’s a great suggestion, thank you for sharing that @Cassie H of Premier Ops Spot!

@Allison Fernandez I’ve checked with the team to see if it’s possible to restrict any access to the client portal and they’ve confirmed that at this time, it’s not possible. However, if it’s an important feature that you’d like for our product team to have on their radar, please submit it through the feature requests section of the community. They monitor it very closely to see what features to prioritize!

Tagging @Megan Curtis at Calypso Studio @Anne Little @Jackie Citerony and @Marc Scheff because you’ve liked Allison’s post - if you’re interested in this feature being built, make sure you bump up a feature request on the topic. The more demand there is for a requested feature, the more likely it is to be prioritized 🙌

Hi @Masha Z I’ve liked the original post here. Is that what you mean by bumped up?
