We have a portable petting farm - animal therapy service and we travel to our client locations.
Our travel fee includes:
milage by city
PLUS toll fees depending on route
and there is a second tier of fees if we tow our trailer. (That fee is dependant on the Critter Combination package selected … if we need more room for bigger animals)
I have a list of fees for most cities, that includes the tolls for regularly travelled routes.
A: On our SERVICE Template … Is there a way a client can TYPE in the name of their location and our preset Travel fee will be inserted or zero’d in as an item?
B: can I use their address, set as a SMART ITEM from their intake form, to select their travel fee before sending the choices of packages?
B.1 HOW do I make sure they actually PUT THIER CITY as well as the street address on their form? I put a SAMPLE address and city as the suggested text YET clients don’t bother inputting the complete address! grrrrr
C: To input every location we serve as a Service Item makes for a VERY VERY long list. It takes up so much space. Is there a more compressed way to view the Travel items? a drop down alphabetical list that links to my price list and will inserts the fee? LIKE THE COMMUNITY CATEGORY list below
