Hi everyone,

Is there a way to delete/edit the footer of my outgoing emails? Specifically the bottom part that I put a box around:

The “You can reply directly...” and “Warning: Do not forward...” sections? Can those be changed?

Thanks so much!

I have not seen an option to edit this—my guess is that some of this may be required on Honeybook’s side for privacy and email compliance standards.

I just spoke with customer service and they confirmed there isn’t a way to remove it. But, this is really problematic for us because it links to the project, which our clients don’t (or shouldn’t) have access to until they book with us. So, this footer makes it really hard to use the email interface with prospects/leads

Here’s a trick...emails sent from Honeybook won’t have that gray text when..

  1. Email is sent from an automation
  2. Smart File is sent with email

Or, send the email directly in your email service provider. I’m not a fan of the gray text either so in general, I send emails directly in gmail.

Oh thats good to know about 1 & 2. Setting up automations is next on my list so that’s helpful!

I really wanted to more easily track all correspondence within the CRM, and emails sent directly from your email service provider don’t feed into the project’s activity. So unfortunately right now I’m choosing between either a) not having all correspondence readily available within the project or b) having leads be sent to a ‘client portal’ before they are clients/should have access.

its a bummer!
