As of today 5-6-25 I noticed that all my email templates font changed back to Honeybook default font and I’m unable to change it back to my font for my company.  For the last few years, I was able to select my font when composing emails and now as of today I can’t.  I know they are rolling out updated features this month and it could be a bug.

Has anyone else had this happen?  If so please reach out to support.  I did this morning but don’t know how long it will take for them to fix!

It seems everytime they implement changes whether to email integration or updates to the UI as a whole, they break something.  I’ve spent the last 2 months dealing with issue and it is affecting my workflow and productivity. With the higher subscription price in affect this year, that is beyond ridiculous.

*** Update:

Well heard back from support.  It seems the engineers have removed a bunch of fonts because of some mac users on the end of emails.  So this was done without notice and giving us the option of still using our fonts.  I’m beyond pissed!

@Shawn Spencer  - Totally understand your frustration here—and I know how jarring it can feel when something that’s worked a certain way for so long suddenly changes, especially when it ties directly into your brand. As a brand designer myself, I completely get how important those visual details are to your client experience.

HoneyBook is moving quickly with a lot of exciting updates, and with that kind of momentum, there’s definitely a bit of a grace period as we all get used to what’s changing and why. Many of these adjustments—like standardizing fonts—are geared toward improving long-term performance, especially around email deliverability and consistency across devices.

Still, I know that doesn’t take away the immediate frustration. I really appreciate you sharing your experience—it helps others feel less alone in navigating these updates, and your feedback is always valuable as the product continues to evolve. 💛

@Alicia Bauer I understand the logic behind it and can appreciate it. I am most frustrated at the fact that I wasn’t given any kind of email notification stating this was going to happen and why and when.  Had I received prior notice, then I could have been prepared and figured out a plan.  But this was from one day to the next change without notice and I was left scrambling trying to figure out if there was bug or a problem with my account etc.  I spent the better part of 2 hours dealing with this and going back and forth with support.  It wasn’t until late afternoon yesterday several hours later, that they finally told me that the engineers had removed my font.  This was time I didn’t have to devote to it yesterday.  Not to mention I rely on email templates and have created quite a few that now after to all be updated to another font.

Again, I understand the standardized font issue.  I just wish they would have communicated this better or frankly at all.

I completely understand the frustration, especially when things pop up unexpectedly when we are busy. Hopefully moving forward there can be a balance of better communication on updates. :)
