Feature Request: Allow Follow-Up Forms or Questionnaires to Trigger Immediately After Contact Form Submission

Hi HoneyBook Team,

I absolutely love the HoneyBook interface and Smart Files — they’re intuitive and client-friendly, and I’d really like to stay within the HoneyBook ecosystem. However, I’ve hit a major limitation in my sales workflow.

After a client submits my embedded contact form (on Webflow), I’d love to immediately present them with a follow-up questionnaire — either via popup or redirect — rather than sending it by email. This would improve conversion significantly.

Currently, Smart Files (like questionnaires or proposals) can only be sent by email, which creates friction and drops the engagement. My workaround is using Fillout, which allows conditional logic and partial response tracking — but since HoneyBook doesn’t support syncing external tools back into a project (especially with custom fields or tags), it’s still partially manual.

I’m proposing the following:

  • Native support for immediate follow-up forms after a contact form (via popup or redirect).
  • Or, better integration with tools like Fillout or Typeform, including the ability to sync mapped fields and trigger workflows when responses are submitted.

If HoneyBook added this feature, it would make a huge difference for conversion-driven service providers like me who rely on personalized sales pipelines.

Thanks for considering this, and I’m happy to provide mockups or more detail if it’s helpful!

Hi there! Rona from the HoneyBook team here!
Have you tried using lead forms? They are similar to smart files, but they can be shared with a link or embed on a page, like contact forms. They also allow to schedule with leads, collect answers, service selections  and payments. Highly recommend to give it a try! You can create a multi page form for your process and embed it on your website.
