HB Calendar not linking correctly with iCal

I have reached out to customer service and they were unable to help, so thought I’d post to see if others have this issue.

I have one event deleted from iCal that still shows on HB even after resyncing, deleting and reconnecting, and asking customer service for help. In addition, I have an event I updated the time in iCal and it still shows the old time in HB. I can’t seem to correct the issue, so it’s causing my availability to be incorrect.

Is your iCal set to a public calendar? I ask because that seems to allow for iCal to do a live sync instead of a static sync… I don't know the official terminology, but that does make a difference for my clients I have found

I have the calendar that is causing the issue set as shared with my husband, but not public. Customer service couldn’t fix it on their side and deleted the calendar and had me reconnect. It was gone last night, but is back today oddly enough. And there is no option to delete on HB. In iCal the event doesn’t exist, so I can’t delete it there.

Consider setting it to public (its not public in the sense that it’s searchable)… it really does solve a myriad of things

Just set to public, disconnected and reconnected, and unfortunately that did not work.

Sorry that’s frustrating! Maybe Give it a few minutes… it takes a bit to sync up.

I have also done the public part and it still doesn’t work. I did that over a week ago.

Unfortunately this is still an ongoing issue and has not been resolved.

I have a similar issue with my iCal. I know it’s synced properly and I’ve double checked that I’m marked as busy for my events but there are some events that won’t move from iCal to HB. It’s frustrating because it works 95% of the time and then I run into a scheduling conflict and I can’t find a reason for it other than the system isn’t working. I thought I was the only one with the problem.

I’ve switched to a public calendar, disconnect and reconnected my calendar and double checked all the events for accuracy. I don’t get it. I can’t find any pattern for these not syncing either.
