How to - Create a limited capacity event with payment. Is this possible?

I am hoping to keep all my systems in one place and HB has been amazing so far. I’ve been asked to host a class and want to offer this event with limited seating. In a perfect world, sign ups will be through a lead form which has the date of event, payment screen, and a what’s next screen for a limited number of participants. Any leads that come in beyond the event capacity will get an automated email with the sad news of being waitlisted. 

Is this even possible?

This is something I’ve never done, but see more of in my future.

At the moment, it’s not possible to do that automatically, however, I can see that being an important part of the process! Could you please submit it in the Feature Requests section? Our product team pays close attention to that space 🙌

Currently I use Eventbrite for what you are suggesting, but like yourself. My preference is to have all my contacts and transactions living within my HB.  @Livi F. @Katy Rayne @BrittanyBelcher
