I have a lead magnet PDF that I would like to be above the footer of my website ie. “7 Tips for Video Production Strategy” and would like to collect emails from that and then have the potential lead download that. Does honeybook support this feature or should I go to MailChimp instead?

Hi! You could do this with a Lead Form, or even perhaps a contact form + automation. Here's what you'd need to do:

For lead form:

1. Create the Lead Form (start by using the digital product template)

2. Change the price to $0 on the invoice and toggle on the "digital product" setting on the side panel.

3. Add the link in to your PDF (your PDF will have to have a link - I usually use a Google drive View only Link, but if you created your PDF in Canva that also has a public view link)

To use Contact Form + Automation:

1. Create a Project type specifically for your lead magnet

2. Creat a contact form collecting your lead's info

3. In the settings for the contact form, change the default project type to match your Lead Magnet

4. Create an email template with the PDF lead magnet attached.

5. Create the automation and map it to your contact form /project type that matches the lead magnet

6. Your first or only step in the automation would be when automation is applied, send email - choose the one you created with the PDF attached.

7. You could then send some additional nurture emails with CTAs (like book a call or schedule a service via a lead form) as part of the automation.

Keep in mind the following:

- you will likely want to create a stage on your pipeline for those who opt into the lead magnet so you can track them more easily

- you might not want to use the project type drop down on other contact forms as your Lead Magnet option will appear

- Honeybook is not an email marketing tool so you aren't able to segment, tag, etc. Or create visually appealing templates - though there is a bulk email feature that allows you to email everyone in a particular pipeline stage

Hope this helps!
