How to export contact information from completed projects

All I want is basic contract information for all my completed projects so I can reach back to them via email marketing to ask for reviews etc. You can get this for archived projects but not for completed projects. I keep my completed jobs in the completed projects tab keeping them separate from archived projects that never booked. All I can find is a export list option which gives me a list of every contact in my contact list. Why is this so difficult to get?

    So legally you cannot input your clients into an email marketing platform without their consent! I would set up an automation that sends an email asking for a testimonial X days after you complete working with them. Email marketing platforms usually won’t let you manually add people without proof of consent! 

    If you want them added to your email marketing platform, you need to ask on the contact form and have them check that they agree to be added to your email list. Then either manually add them or set up a zap that sends them automatically.

    I figured this was the case for not having this option. Thanks for your feedback! Can you elaborate on the details of setting up a zap? I’m new to that platform and haven’t really dug into how to do that yet.
