How to Send a PDF for E Signature

Is there a current way to send a PDF for signature? I know I can send a contract but I am looking to upload any file I choose and send it for esignature. Is there a way?

Hi Kristina!
There are two solutions I can see.

  1. Attach the PDF as an attachment to an email (you can even do this in an email template and send it as part of an automation, if the PDF is the same every time). In this case, the client receiving it would have to print and sign it, scan it, and send it back to you. If they do that through your Client portal or by responding to the email you sent through Honeybook, that completed file will live in their Client Portal forever :) 
  2. Upload the PDF using Honeybook’s one-time File Transfer service (free) and classify it as a contract. Then Honeybook’s team will format it and add a signature field to the bottom of the document. (All files uploaded this way show up in your “File Setup” folder in Templates.) Then you can adjust it as needed.

I suppose a more manual 3rd way would be to use a Contract template and just paste the contents of your PDF into that template, which has the signature fields at the bottom of it.

    I am having the same question. The best I can see would be to use an e-signature program and integrate with honeybook or have it be standalone.
