Hi! I am having difficulty with my calendar.   I give my clients two weeks to review their proposal., sign their contract, and make their deposit payment. During this time I schedule the project on my calendar and mark it as busy so that I can hold the dates for them.

However, my scheduler for other things like VIP Days is still showing the days as available. I don’t want to get double booked. How can I fix this?

Hi @Kathryn Schwab! HB Pro Matthew here 👋🏼 When you say “so I can hold dates for them” are these marked as Free or Busy in your calendar? Once we know this answer, I can offer recommendations. However, it may be best to reconnect your calendar (to rule out any glitches) or reach out to chat support to ensure there are no crossed wires.

Hi Matthew,

These are marked as Busy in my calendar. I’ve tried reconnecting my calendar.

Also, is there any way to have a scheduler set up so that my clients can book a two week period for a project (instead of just one day at a time)?

Thank you!
Kathryn

Thanks for that:

  • Unavailable Dates for VIP Days: If your calendar event is marked as "busy," those dates should automatically render as unavailable for VIP Days. If this isn't happening, it may be a glitch, and reaching out to chat support could help resolve it.

  • Scheduling by Weeks, Not Days: You can configure the scheduler for time frames ranging from a few minutes to multi-day events. However, if someone books a session within a two-week window, that period will be marked as unavailable across all session types. Currently, there’s no way to block off availability for one service (e.g., Service A) while keeping it open for another (e.g., Service B).

Wish I had more positive feedback for you @Kathryn Schwab!
