I have some clients that beat up my contract with their legal teams and I want to be able to use their same contract again and again for new projects. Is there a way to duplicate an entire proposal, invoice, contract from one project to another? I would love to be able to use a custom contract on an entirely new client when they come in.

I built a contract from one of the already premade ones and made it my own- then I saved and starred it. that was thats the one I use and i can edit it how I need to when I send it to different clients.

Not sure if this helped!

When I go in to create a new proposal, there is an option to use an existing contract on the right hand side after you click in the contract section. I use that often as all my contracts are essentially the same with just client and or project specific details that change. Once you get the invoice, contract ect. in place you can save it as a new template to reuse over and over. I hope this answers your question.

Yes! @Christopher Williams , As Tina said, once you have a contract you like you can save it as a template. When we do this for clients we always have the contract as just 1 page of a multi-page smart file. What this allows us to do is use Smart Fields in the contract. For example, you can pull in the services they chose, plus the payment schedule, and any other info they may have given you earlier in the process, so that they're officially agreeing to them in the terms of the contract.

I have a template you can view if you'd like to see a sample.

Thank you all- most of this I know but I realize that my question could have been better written. I am trying to copy an entire proposal or save it as a new template (well after it was sent and paid for). The client came back and wants the exact same thing…. AND to make matters more complicated I added a new brand and wanted to convert this client to that new brand… and templates seem to be locked to the brand. The old project was also not a smart file… I think I just need to copy and paste text into a new smart file in the new brand… I just thought there might have been a faster easier way to replicated projects when they are being repeated…
