Lead Form Activity Name is Wrong

Okay, I am not sure how to put this. I was testing a Lead Form, and I entered the name as “Test Client” 

When I got the notification in my email, the name was “Muffin Man” but only shows that in the mobile notification, email notification, as well as the project’s recent activity timeline. 

Any thoughts? My only concern is that the name may be used in place of the client’s actual name.

Thanks for reaching out about this! 

Just to double check, you didn’t submit under the name Muffin Man right? Have you used the email address for this test inquiry before with that name perhaps? If you had submitted a test under a different name (but same email) in the past, the inquiry will sync with the contact that already exists with the first name it was submitted with!

Thank you for the response. I am not sure exactly what happened. I don’t remember having used the name “Muffin Man” at all. I did try to recreate the “issue” but I couldn’t.

Oh well. 🤣 At least I had a good laugh.
