Leads that don't book?

What are most people doing with their leads that end up not booking? Do you have a different pipeline stage for those lead-only projects that never convert or do you archive them or…?

Maybe I’m the only person with leads that don’t book!

Archive them so your pipeline is full of leads and clients who are ready to work with you!

I have the same problem, they don’t book.  I just archive them

@SWatson and don’t forget you can create a custom archive reason for clients where you want to get more specific of why they didn’t book!

Same here. Archiving them away.

Yes I just archive to take them out of the pipeline

I was just talking to a Consulting client about this today! She had a great follow up sequence set up for people who “ghost” her. I told her it might be good to save that and apply it manually if they don’t book a call with you.

My process, like others, is to archive them, but I do schedule time once a quarter or so to go through my Pipeline and reach back out to certain leads who said the timing wasn’t right or that I want to check back with.

Now that Honeybook has Tags, you can also use the “👻Ghosted” tag :)

@SWatson - I am not sure if you have customized your pipeline after your post but I have a “cold leads” section on my pipeline that I can go back to and check back in after a certain amount of time. It allows me to keep them in one space and pop back in if I feel like it would be good to follow up. I love this set up so I can continue the conversation and not have to search for them. It’s not a NO until they say so!

Same here! I have a spot on my pipeline called Suspended for leads that have future potential. Archive is only for spam, bad fit, and completed. If they just ghosted and it could still happen, I put them in Suspended. I also export the emails into my marketing email system so they get a newsletter until they unsubscribe.

Thanks all, I really like the suggestion of adding a Ghosted or Cold Leads stage on the pipeline!

Kimberly Pope

Thanks for the information shared on adding a Ghosted, Suspended, and Cole Leads. This would help me out greatly in organizing my pipeline.
