Is there an option for a client to override the payment schedule and pay an invoice in full if they so desired? It seems to be only allowing them to pay the amount set on the schedule. Please help

You’re correct this is not currently an option. However, this feature request that is currently in development seems to be what you’re looking for. If so, I suggest heading over and adding your voice with more details or in numbers by upvoting it.
