Pulling custom project details into emails

I have the same question! We use quite a few custom fields and I can’t get them to show up in smart files either. 

I asked about this too. Currently only the standard fields are available as smart fields for text blocks and emails, no custom fields. I find this puzzling and frustrating.
 

Contracts is the only place I have found custom fields available as a smart field.

I created a request for this feature and there is an open call for custom field feedback from HB (link below). Share your thoughts and upvote so we can get proper use of custom fields throughout HB files, emails and contacts.
