I wish there was a way to make it so the client can edit the questionnaire after submitting. if not is there a way to export a page from a smart file?

You can't edit it once it's been submitted, no. To export a specific page I "print" the file as a PDF and select the page I want. If you're wanting the exported page to be fillable, save the original as a template, duplicate it, and delete the pages you don't want included

Hey @Jase Dewald! Elli from the Education team at HoneyBook here.

While clients can’t edit a questionnaire after submitting, there is a workaround. What you can do is make any small change to your smart file and then click Publish Changes. This will move the smart file back to the In Progress stage, allowing your client to edit it again. You can check out full instructions here.

@Sandra Henderson nailed the explanation for exporting a specific page!

I hope this helps a bit. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions. 😊

I second this!

It would be great if this document had the ability to be unpublished to make changes. Similar to how you can edit a contract or invoice. It is becoming a common issue with my clients even after I ask them to hold on submitting until complete because they won't be able to edit it. I often have to send them a second, new form, and it's not a great experience for them and myself.

With the workaround mentioned above, will the previous progress on the form be wiped or will it remain as it was with the ability to make additions?

An Event Supreme

I agree that this is a common issue that I experience with my clients as well.  They sometimes need to edit information contained on a submtted questionnaire even after they think all the informatiin is final.  Having to send a new form or remember to make manual changes/updates on my print out is not ideal.  While I'm appreciative of the workaround, it is cumbersome and unprofessional.  Honeybook, please add an unpublish feature so that changes can be made to a questionnaire after submission.
