Hello,

Is there a way to add a multiple column layout for the Multiple Answer option? I am creating a questionnaire where my clients would need to choose 5 answers out of 30. I am trying to put these answers in 3 columns of 10.

Hey @Georgette Casimir -- there isn’t like a perfecttttt way to do this, but I think I found a way that may be good enough. See what I did below...

Here’s what I did:

  1. In your file, add a new text block » title and write your question there as simple text
  2. Then add a new question block underneath » select multiple choice question as the type
  3. Click on the outer part of the question block to make the content 3-columns
  4. in the first column, add 10 possible answers
  5. Then, copy and paste that question into columns 2 and 3 and adjust options as necessary
  6. Make sure none of the 3 questions are required, because then it would mean a client has to pick one in each column, when that may not really be the case.

OR, a way easier option: you can save this template, so you can copy & paste these blocks into your own file.

I think it’s pretty good - but the reason it’s “not perfect” is because these are technically 3 questions, so when your client submits, you’ll still see all their responses pretty clearly but it’s not as clean as all belonging to the same question

Does this help?

(And can you tell I’m taking myself out to ice cream tonight? 🍨)
