I would love to be able to use this feature, but some things seem to have gone entirely wrong on my first attempt. All of our payments should get recorded to a liability account. It’s an advance payment for an event that has not yet happened, so total billed to Event Deposits, Fees to the fee account, cash to the bank account. Then when then event happens, revenue/taxes/etc are all recorded. Instead everything’s getting recorded to revenue when a payment is made - and worse, the entire invoice is getting booked to revenue, not even just the payment that was made. Is there a way to set this up where it will just record the payment and fees? Also would be SUPER if it would bring over the event date so I don’t have to be in and out of both systems figuring out what revenue to recognize this month.

I'm guessing you will need to find a workaround because (surprisingly) many people do not do their bookkeeping this way.
We just moved over to QB Online - partially because I saw there was an integration. It doesn’t seem like I’ll be able to use it any time soon though! I did request a feature for a report that shows all the revenue/taxes/etc from events that happen during a particular time frame, which would really help streamline month end for us. Hopefully it gets some attention!
